Ross Marathons Charities

Working Together

In past years Ross Marathons has donated proceeds of the event to charitable causes. Past beneficiaries have been Street Swags, The Smith Family, Men’s Sheds, Prostate Cancer Australia, The Tasmanian Deveil Appeal, The Cancer Council, Time Out House, Ross Community Sports Centre  and the Red Cross.

Ross Marathons invites charities and community organisations to become involved with the event in return for donations. If charities or community organisations are able to provide race day support (e.g. running a drink station, supporting runners on the course and at the finish line) Ross Marathons will happily donate to their cause. Preference will be given to local charities and groups but all are welcome to enquire.

The decision to take this approach has been made as year on year the committee finds it increasingly hard to attract volunteers for the event.

If your charity or community organisation is interested in being involved please contact for more information.
