Anyone who just happened to visit the Trevallyn Reserve this morning would have received quite a shock as purple cheer leaders, a dinosaur, beetlejuice, a tardis, an Egyptian queen, some clowns, a zombie bride, a banana, a monk, a unicorn, Robin Hood, Jame Bond, Pikachu, a bunch of basket-ballers, a surgeon, a nurse and lots of other interesting characters ran up the road giggling and generally having a merry (somewhat crazy) time!

Todays Paint Plus, Give Me Five For Kids Fancy Dress Race at the Hoo Hoo Hut in the Trevallyn Reserve was loads of fun and very colourful!  We raised almost $500 for this very worthy charity – with all the proceeds of the race and the sponsorship going to the charity 🙂  Well done everyone.  And a massive thanks to Phil Gregory from Paint Plus for not only sponsoring but also running (as a beer bottle!)..

Today is a race that counts towards number of runs with the club BUT its not an official timed or recorded race for championship points (in fact the actual distance is a little sketchy ;-)).  We had a mass start and the first male across the line in Division 1 was Brodie Triffett and the first female was Amy Lamprecht.  Various prizes where given out for costumes and general misbehaviour – thanks to all our generous gift sponsors!

The division 2 and 3 races were held together in a mass start – in Divisions 2 Benjamin Frost was the first male and it was a three way heat between Mackenzie Roberts, Madi Brazendale & Chloe Deans.; and in the division 3 fun run the first male was Zander Watson and the first female was Averyl Quinn.

Next week is a week off club runs so you can all join in the Launceston Ten on Sunday 18th 🙂
The follow week (24th June) we have the Pasta Merchant 6.2k on the Carr Villa Trail – enjoy your break and see you in two weeks!
