LRC Registration

Launceston Running Club processes Timing and Registration on Webscorer.

 

All the LRC Registrations can be found at Launceston Running Club (webscorer.com)

Below is a screenshot from Webscorer (2023) so you know what to expect.

These are broken down into the following categories.

 

Membership

 

Membership is mandatory to run with the club, we’re offering both a trial and full membership.

  • Full Membership is found via the #year Membership link, and follows the process below.
  • Trial Membership is found via the #year Trial Membership link, and allows purchase of 1 race and the use of a timing chip via the $10 refundable deposit. Please contact us via Facebook or email to advise which race you would like to enter.

 

Registration Requirements: –

  1. Club registration – you must be a registered member of the club.
  2. Each race you run has a weekly entry fee.
  3. $10 timing chip – a one off fee.  The chip is yours to keep.  If you have one already you do not need a new one.

 

Membership fees are as follows:-

  • Seniors No Top $45.00
  • Seniors with Top  $75.00
  • Junior (top is free) $30.00

Please note for families, discounts also apply for 3+ registrations.

 

 

Multi Race Discounts

Season Entries.

Season can be entered via the All Remaining Races registration. This requires no further registering for events for the remainder of season, just let us know if you wish to switch distances.

Seniors can select long or short course and will only set your default event and is at the same price for both distances.

Juniors can enter Junior or Short Course at a junior price, the Long Course is charged the same rate for Juniors and Seniors.

The registration amount is discounted each week by the amount of remaining races. There is a total registration % discount for the first month, then it reduces throughout the season.

Season/Race Entries. (In Progress) Not currently implemented as all events need to be entered into Webscorer first, the above system provides the same discounts.

  • Race entries for every race are available under the 2023 Season. You can enter 1 or multiple races.
  • Discounts stack for every 5 races entered at the same time.
  • For example 5 races is 2.5%, 10 is 5%, 15 is 7.5% and 20 is 10%.
  • If you’re unsure which Races you want to run, but would still like a discount then the Race Pass may be a better option as it allows entry up until the Thursday night before the race (excluding the Feature Race).

 

Race Pass is not currently being offered in 2024 due to errors in system.

The Race Pass provides a voucher for the listed number of races, users will still need a Membership to register for the races they wish to enter. The discount for selecting multiple races in the Season Entry is the same as the race pass discount, however you’ll need to know which races you wish to enter in advance and register at the same time for the Season Entry.

Running Tops

 

From 2023 tops have been redesigned with a new material, they are lighter and should breathe easier, they’re also quite stretchy. We recommend if in between sizes, please size up.

If you would like a top and you’re a Senior (18+) please ensure to

  • Select Senior Registration during Membership and the price will update.
  • You can then select T Shirt or Singlet.
  • Then size in Men, Women or Childrens.
  • Note: Juniors continue to be eligible for a free T Shirt with Membership.

We are looking to add merch to our club website, including additional tops. Will update this page and Facebook when this is available.

 Timing Chips

With the introduction of the new timing system in 2015, runners purchase their own race timing chip as a one off cost. All new runners will need to purchase their timing chip as a one off fee.

Similar process to the tops during Membership

  • If you already have one, select yes and type in the chip number (we use this to cross reference any conflicts within our database)
  • If you don’t have one or have lost it, select no, it will update to hide the number and add a $10 chip fee for a new one to be issued at your next Race.

Let us know if you have misplaced your chip!  Timing chips are still $10 including a strap.
