Jozina Goedhart raced home first today in the Salon Nolas 5k at Blackstone Heights. After a number of top 5 places this year it was great to see Jozina break through for a win! The second place getter was crowd pleaser and past president David Anderson (Strawb) quickly followed by last years winner Jess Scales.
The fastest male today was Pete Johnson in a time of 19.31 and the fastest female was our very happy club secretary, Katie Proctor in a time of 23:27!
In the division two 2.44k race Benjamin Frost won from Chelsea Rogers and Jj Tai. The fastest male in todays race was Benjamin Frost and the fastest female was Chelsea Rogers.
In the division three 1.62k race Archie Rogers won from Annabelle Pike and Jess Butler. The fastest male in todays race was Luke McHugh and the fastest female was Averyl Quinn.

Its hard to believe but next week is the last race of the 2017 season – the Ninth Island Feature Race! As fabulous sponsors Ninth Island have decided to give every participant a bottle of win for participating.. What a fantastic way to celebrate the end of another fun LRC season 🙂

It will also be the Junior presentation day next Saturday and we’ll have a face painter – so come along and celebrate the last race of the season.
