After taking everyones entries today, Pete Johnson jumped out of the caravan and raced around the scenic hills of Hillwood to storm home first in the Don Flanagan Memorial, Geier Hillwood 10k! 27 lucky div one runners tackled the hills in warm conditions today – Jobe Tai came in second just ahead of a fast finishing John Claridge! The fastest male was John Claridge in a time of 37.15 and the fastest female was John’s partner, Amy Lamprecht in a time of 42.58. The race was sponsored by long time club members (and runners) Kurt and Doris Geier 🙂
The junior divisions tackled a warm lap course of the Hillwood football grounds.
In the division two (2.75 – 3k) race Sebastian Frost won from Lani Tai and Harry Darsaklis. The fastest male was Benjamin Frost and the fastest female was Mackenzie Roberts.
In the division three (1.75 – 2k) race Reiss Hinds won from Sisi Tai and Joseph Rogers Jnr. The fastest male was Alex Zegveld and the fastest female was Averyl Quinn.

It was fantastic to have the club patron, life member & 500+ runner, Andrew Flanagan at the race today. He is also Don Flanagan’s son 🙂
