This year we decided to mix things up a bit and instead of holding the feature race at the end of the season we decided to have it in the middle of the season 🙂 Not only that we also choose a new course to run it on – the always stunning Greens Beach! Finally, one of our long time valued sponsors – the Running Edge – came to the party and sponsored our new feature race.. Thank you!
We’d like to thank everyone for their positive feedback on the 2023 Running Edge 10k feature race at Greens Beach.. The winner in the 10k long course was Adam Tibballs. Tim Gunton stormed into second and Josh Slocombe continued his good form to grab third.
The fastest male in the long course was Nathan Gibb in a time of 40:54 and the fastest female was Sarah Menzie in a time of 48:28.
In the 2.5k short course, Annie Howard was the first across line from Kobe Heger in second and Annie Guest in third (who was also the first adult across the line). The fastest junior male was Charlie Reece in a time of 9.25 and the fastest junior female was Aurora DeBoer in a time of 10.23.
In the 1.5k junior course Izzy Reid was the first across the line from Thomas Rowlings in second and Lewis Tibballs in third. The fastest male was Freddy Barnewall in a time of 7:57 and the fastest female was Olive Howard in a time of 7:08.
