The Greaves Engineering and Design 6k was held in, yet again, beautiful conditions, at Low Head.  The new BBQ shelter area at East Beach made the perfect spot for our latest fundraising BBQ – generously provided by the Rob Rick Dale Deer Farm and who also cooked for us along with Sarah Fawcett… Thank you!

The 6k long course was won by club life member Andrew Flanagan.  After a few years away from the club (to ride a bike) Andrew has overcome some initial injuries and is enjoying his running.

Penny Heger raced in to second, holding off a fast finishing Josh Slocombe in third place.   The fastest male and female were very close today, Johnno Claridge took out the fastest male in a time of 22:03 and while the fastest female was Amy Lampretch in a time of 24:31.

In the 2.5k short beach course, Archer Rogers was the first across the line with Isaac Rowlings taking second.  Leigh Jessup ran into third and first senior.  The fastest junior male was Archer Rogers in a time of 12.50 and the fastest junior female was Jada Rowlings in a time of 13.28.

In the 1.5k junior beach course Olive Howard was the first across the line from Sienna Bramich in second and Noah Webb in third.  The fastest male was Noah Webb in a time of 9:36 and the fastest female was Olive Howard in a time of 8:04.
