Anne Davies grabbed a strong win in todays new race at Grindelwald – the Woolcott Surveys 5k. Georgie Sertori took out second and Christine White raced into third. The fastest male was Ricky Barnewall in 17:12 and the fastest female was Sarah Menzie in a time of 20:51.
Sebastian Frost was the first junior home in the short course from Ryan Cullen and Rosie Jackson. The first senior in the short course was Joseph Rogers from Kate Lee-Archer and Elizabeth Staak. The fastest male was Harry Darsaklis and the fastest female was Averyl Quinn.
A very happy Mason Hill won the junior race today. Flynn Rogers came in second and Jack Barnard was third. The fastest male was Archer Rogers and the fastest female was Imogen Hughes.
Next week – Race 8 – a new race in 2020 – the Crazy Duck 16k ish (its looking like about 15.7k) at York Cove George Town to Low Head return. This new course is replacing the Lilydale Lope (which will be back in 2021 :)) and has us running on the Kanamaluka Trail along the river all the way. There will be a drink station around the 4k/8k mark…
