Race 18 of the 2023 season – the Woolcott Surveyors 5.9k in Grindelwald – has been run and won.
Anne Davies turned around last weeks DNF to break through for a strong win from birthday girl Fiona DeWitt and North West coaster Howard Crispin in third. The fastest male was Tristan Pickering in a time of 21:20 and the fastest female was Sarah Menzie in a time of 27:08.
In the 2.5k short course Peyton Webb was the first across the line and the first junior home. Anita Howard was the second across the line and the first senior, while Tim Reece raced into third place. The fastest junior male was Harry Jackson in a time of 8:09 and the fastest female was Jada Rowlings in a time of 10:16.
In the 1.5k junior course Jensen Littlechild raced home for a great win from Tania Bramich in second and Darcy Staak in third. The fastest male was Flynn Murray in a time of 6:19 and the fastest female was Olive Howard in a time of 7:21.

Next week is the Salon Nolas 11.09k at Bridport! This is the second half of our Scottsdale/Bridport half marathon series – if you ran the Scottsdale trail in May and you run in Bridport you’ll get a medal and there maybe some other prizes on offer 🙂
