Junior, Charlie Mills ran strongly today to take out the Launceston Running Buddies 5k at the Tailrace Park! Susan Kerr raced into second and Anne Davies into the third spot. The rain didn’t dampen the day for over 100 runners – it was a sea of red, with the buddies tops and the LRC tops both being red 🙂 The fastest male was Ricky Barnewall in a time of 17:53 and the fastest female was Averyl Quinn in a time of 19:45.
In the 2.5k short course Chelsea Rogers was the first junior while Fiona Webb was the first senior across the line. Second place was taken by Hamish Duffy and third place by Joseph Rogers jnr. The fast male (junior) was Sebastian Frost and the fastest female was Gabby Heger.
In the 1.5k junior course Peyton Webb crossed the line first from Kobe Heger and Emily Padgett. The fastest male was Archer Rogers and the fastest female was Emily Padgett.
