One of our hard working committee members had his first ever win today! Colin Smith was a very happy winner of the Jones Family 8k at Westbury 🙂 We had 5 members of the Jones family present, continuing the running legacy Wes Jone created. Wes’ grandkids, Ben and Billy also ran today – it was great to have them at the race 🙂
Second place today was Anna O’Donnell in a fight to the line with Scott Greaves! (check out the video on Facebook ;-)). The fastest male was Peter johnson in a time of 30:12 and the fastest female was Katherine Mills in a time of 36:38.
Eloise Cooper was the 1st under 18 while Maxine Lindsay was the 1st over 18 in todays 2.3km short course. Charlotte Rogers came in second and Sebastian Frost 3rd. The fastest male was Daniel DeWitt and the fastest female was Chelsea Rogers.
First home in the juniors 1.15km was Peyton Webb (after a few weeks away while mum had a baby ;-)), Mason Hill came in second and Archer Rogers third. The fastest male was Archer Rogers and the fastest female was Annabelle Pyke.
