Corran McHugh won todays Newnham Meats Tailrace 5k by doing his best stay ahead of his wife Tracey (there was only 5 secs difference between their race times!). Justin Cooper came in second and Tracey McHugh third. The fastest male was Deon Birtwistle in a time of 17:14 and the fastest female was Katherine Mills in a time of 22:22.
In the division two 2.5k race Amy Lewis won from backward finishing Thomas Cooper and Luke McHugh. The fastest male was Luke McHugh in a km rate of 3:47 and then fastest female was Chelsea Rogers in a km rate of 4:54.
In the division three 1.5k race Dillon McHugh won from Annabelle Pyke and Jospeh Rogers Jnr. The fastest male was Jospeh Rogers Jnr in a km rate of 4:06 and then fastest female was Annabelle Pyke in a km rate of 4:36.
Our fabulous treasurer, Scott Greaves ran his 200th run today also – congrats Scott!
