Race 4 Report – 2026 LRC Season
Saturday 20 June 2026 – Westbury
It was a clear and crisp morning at Westbury, and there were plenty of runners ready to shed their jackets to run in Race 4 of the Launceston Running Club 2026 season.
Massive thank you to Councillor Anne-Marie Loader for being the sponsor of today’s race, your support of the club is sincerely appreciated. Also thank you for being present today – volunteering and giving out the prizes for all of the winners!
The out-and-back course started at the Westbury Village Green and consisted of three different distances: 1.5km Juniors, 2.5km Short course and 8km Long Course.

Venue: Hillwood
Course: A flowing run around Hillwood climbing a couple of nice hills, but what goes up must go down.1.5k Juniors, 2.5k Short Course, 10km Long Course
Meeting point: Hillwood Football Oval Jetty Road
Enter here BEFORE 7pm Thursday 25 June (entries close at 7pm sharp Thursday – no entries on race day). TIP: Plan to enter on Wednesday so you don’t accidentally miss the cut off time!
