Race Report – 145 Financial 10km at Hillwood – Race 5
It was a stunning day out at Hillwood for Race 5 of the 2025 season, with runners taking on the rolling hills under blue skies and soaking up the beautiful views of the Tamar River. 😊
Thanks to 145 Financial (the Wierenga family) for sponsoring this beautiful 10km event—what a spot, what a vibe!
A huge congratulations to Anne Davies, who powered home for the win today on the long course, with Brenton Josey hot on her heels in second, and Hannah Morris rounding out the podium with a strong third place.

⚡ Fastest Female: Sarah Menzie – 45:17
🏃♂️ Short Course (2.5km)
It was another strong showing by our younger runners in the 2.5km event!
🥇 Indianna Berwick took the win and was also our fastest junior female—an awesome effort all round.
🥈 Tommy Nguyen crossed in second with a great run.
🥉 Ricky Barnewall was third and the first 18+ finisher.
🎖️ Fourth place went to Aarden Boonyanit who put in a solid run.

⚡ Fastest Junior Female: Indianna Berwick – 11:20
👟 Junior Course (1.5km)
There was plenty of excitement in the junior ranks this week as they dashed around the Hillwood loop with big smiles and even bigger efforts!
🥇 Rafa Barnewall took out the win.
🥈 Lucy Webb had a fantastic run to take second.
🥉 Chloe Marsh finished strong in third and was our fastest female in a time of 6:41
🎖️ Felix Webb came home in fourth, rounding out a competitive field.
⚡ Jock Barnewall: was the fastest male with a speedy 7:22

👀 Looking Ahead – Race 6 at Low Head
Next Sunday we’re heading seaside for Race 6 – the Scott Greaves Engineering 6km at Low Head. Expect coastal views, salty air, and a few sandy strides, especially for our juniors, who’ll be taking on the beach for part of their course 🌊
