🏃‍♂️ Hills, Hustle & Grit – Race 12 Tests the Legs at Carr Villa! 🏃‍♀️

Race 12 of the 2025 Launceston Running Club season took place on the hilly Carr Villa course—a two-lap footpath grind with enough incline to wake up even the most relaxed quads 😅

Mild winter weather and no rain meant ideal conditions, even if many regulars were away racing the Gold Coast Marathon (good luck to Charles Gunn, Sue Kerr & Pat Moroney!).

🥇 Leigh Evans ran strong and smart to take the win in the 6.2km long course—his first victory of the season!
🥈 Molly Barendt powered into second place.
🥉 Jack Huang followed closely for third.
🏅 Tony Butler rounded out the top four.

This race had a Barnewall double celebration as Freddy took the win and his dad Ricky crossed as the first adult—fifth overall! 👏
