Hello Everyone, apologies for the late notice but we have only been advised of some important conditions for this weekends feature race today. If you are coming to the feature race please read the following carefully.
Unfortunately a recent development of Phylloxera in vineyards has meant that our wonderful sponsor Josef Chromy has had to implement some biohazard controls. Please note the following information
- MOST IMPORTANT- If you have been to a vineyard in Victoria in the last 30 days you cannot attend the vineyard for this weekends race- if this affects you let us know and we will refund your entry
- Please park at the cellar door overflow carpark and do not come on site via the gate, only the caravan and course markers will be allowed via that gate- see the map below park where the red dot is
- You will be required to sign onto the site before you race- they will provide us with the sheets to coordinate this
- You will be required to disinfect dip you shoes before running
The last and biggest piece of information is we cannot run off into the vineyard area itself which means a couple of things, firstly please do not go beyond the Driveway to warm up- you are welcome to run anywhere around the lake and outside of Chromy.
Secondly Whilst our Division 2 and 3 courses remain the same- we will have to drastically alter the course for the feature race as we lost about 6-7k of the course. New course and distance to be advised hopefully today or tomorrow, just finalising some ideas.
