Race 8 Report – 2026 LRC Season
Saturday 18 July 2026 – Longford
Amazing running by all at the flat and fast Longford Course for Race 8 of the 2026 Launceston Running Club season. The out and back course made for some fast times, and Katie Proctor stormed home for the win in the Long Course!

There was also some excitement with a tie for the fastest junior female in the Short Course! Both Poppy Steen and Isobel Gunn ran a time of 10:21 for the 2.4km!

The sponsors Scott and Sam Smith along with some of the amazing team from Scott Smith Orthodontics came and joined in the fun, presenting the awards and gifting free water bottles to each of the winners. Thank you to the Scott Smith Orthodontics team for your support of this race, it is greatly appreciated.
