Kevin Bell gave a heart felt speech after winning todays Salon Nolas 5k event at Blackstone Heights. Scott Greaves came in 2nd with Paige Wierenga 3rd. The fastest male today was Matthew Zegveld in a time of 18:05 and the fastest female was Paige Wierenga in a time of 22:37.
In the 2.44k short course Charlotte Rogers was the first under 18 home and Felicity Cooper was the first 18 or over to cross the line. Thomas Cooper came in second in his usual backward style and Kurt Geier finished strong in third. The fastest male was Benjamin Frost and the fastest female was Chelsea Rogers (under 18).
In the 1.62k junior course Seth Hill crossed the line first from Chelsea Sertori and Isobel Zegveld. The fastest male was Archer Rogers and the fastest female was Hannah Zegveld.

Next week is the final race for the 2019 season – the Paragon Accountants and Advisors 10k at Pipers Brook. Entries for this race are now closed. Please bring some cash for the wonderful BBQ that Pipers Brook Vineyard are putting on for us. This is also the Junior clubs presentation day so we will not start the 10k until 11:15 – 11:30am – please come and help us celebrate with the kids 🙂
