Lance Beament won the INTAS Scottsdale to Bridport half marathon today. Not only did he win but this was either a course record for him or very close, so he ran the longest race in our calendar very well! Scott Jones came in second – today he was running for recently passed Leon Young (Leon was a long time member of the club – there is a memorial for Leon at Mowbray race course on Monday at 12pm – all welcome to pay their respects). Daniel Sexton came in a strong third. the fastest male today was Deon Birthwistle in 1 hour 17. The fastest female was Amy Lampretch in a time of 1 hour 29.

Next week is the Salon Nolas 5k at Blackstone Heights – a slightly undulating course 😉
