Leanne Bishop made it third time lucky by taking out the Pasta Merchant 6.2k at Carr Villa today in her third race with the club – great effort on a tough little course! The next 4 place getters were committee members! Corran McHugh came in second and Pete Johnson 3rd. The fastest male today was Matthew Zegveld in 23:32 and the fastest female today was Karinna Fyfe in 23:16!
In the division two 3km circuit race, Luke Mchugh came in first from Chelsea Rogers and sister Charlotte Rogers. The fastest male today was Luke McHugh and the fastest female was Chelsea Rogers.
In the division three 1.5km out and back race, Flynn Rogers came in first from brother Archer Rogers and Isobel Zegveld. The fastest male today was Joseph Rogers jnr and the fastest female was Hannah Zegveld.
Next week we have a season favourite – the Van Dieman Brewing 9.75k at White Hills. We will also provide soup and savs for $1 and $2, perfect for warming up on the winter Saturdays 🙂
