Race 17 of the 2024 season, took place in perfect running conditions in Windermere. A big thank you to all the participants, supporters, and volunteers who made this event a memorable one!
Long Course Overview (15.3km):
Today saw Leanne Evans claim victory for the first time after running with the club for a number of years. Leigh Jessup sped into second place. Paige Wierenga and Susan Kerr keep showing their great form to claim third and fourth. Judah Morris just claims fastest male in a time of 1:04:02 with Sarah Menzie posting the fastest female, finishing in 1:13:08.
Short Course Action (2.5km):
Lewis Tibballs secured victory today ahead of Seth Hill. Tim Reese crossed the line in third and the first senior with Mel Hill rounded out the top four. Charlie Reese clocked the fastest male time at 9:25, showing his impressive speed.
Junior Course Highlights (1.5km):
Harvey Tibballs took the top honors in the juniors. Chloe Marsh was hot on his tail to claim second with Edith Tibballs in third. Chloe Marsh recorded the fastest female time at 6:44 and Harvey Tibballs the males in 7:57.
