Leigh Jessup took out the Cranes Combined 7.5k today in Perth. Today was Leigh’s first win with the club and his 50th run! Steve Fitzallen stormed into 2nd and Pete Wierenga raced into 3rd. The fastest male was Ricky Barnewall in a time of 25:47 and the fastest female was Katherine Mills in a time of 34:00.
In the 2.5k short course Charlotte Rogers was the first junior across the line from Haylee Spicer and Ella Fish. The first senior across the line was Pete Lee-Archer from Lisa McCarthy and Sandra Carter. The fastest male was Archer Rogers and the fastest female was Rosie Jackson.
In the junior 1.5k course Spencer Fish crossed the line first from Jacinta Rowlings and George Darsaklis. The fastest male was George Darsaklis and the fastest female was Emily Padgett.
Next week we’re heading out to Bishopsbourne to run the Nick Hay/Harcourts/Badcock Family 15.3k AND to enjoy the country hospitality provided by the Badcock family! There will be some nibbles after the race – if you’d like to bring a plate please do 🙂
