Launceston Running Club processes Timing and Registration on Webscorer.

Below is a screenshot from Webscorer so you know what to expect – 2025 club membership, 20 race season pass, 2025 trial membership AND all the individual race entries!

These are broken down into the following categories.

Membership

Membership is mandatory to run with the club, we’re offering both a trial and full membership.

  • Full Membership is found via the #year Membership link, and follows the process below.
  • Trial Membership is found via the #year Trial Membership link, and allows purchase of 1 race and the use of a timing chip via the $10 refundable deposit. Please contact us via Facebook or email to advise which race you would like to enter.

Registration Requirements: –

  1. Club registration – you must be a registered member of the club to enter more than one race a year (i.e. you can run one race before you must register as a member).
  2. Each race you run has a weekly entry fee.
  3. $10 timing chip – a one off fee.  The chip is yours to keep.  If you have one already you do not need a new one.

Membership fees are as follows:-

  • Seniors No Top $45.00
  • Seniors with Top  $75.00
  • Junior (top is free) $30.00

Please note for families, discounts also apply for 3+ registrations.

Multi Race Discounts

Season Entries.

An All Races option is available offering a 20% discount available up to and including Race 3.  You will nominate either a short course or long course and if you would like to swap races, please send us a message prior to the relevant race registration closure time.   [NP]  Juniors case nominate either the Junior or Short Course with the same applying in respect to changing this nomination.  Should they wish to run the Long Course, an additional charge is applicable as juniors running the long course are charged at the same rate as seniors. Running Tops

 

From 2023 tops have been redesigned with a new material, they are lighter and should breathe easier, they’re also quite stretchy. We recommend if in between sizes, please size up.

If you would like a top and you’re a Senior (18+) please ensure to

  • Select Senior Registration during Membership and the price will update.
  • You can then select T Shirt or Singlet.
  • Then size in Men, Women or Childrens.
  • Note: Juniors continue to be eligible for a free T Shirt with Membership.

We are looking to add merch to our club website, including additional tops. Will update this page and Facebook when this is available.

 Timing Chips

With the introduction of the new timing system in 2015, runners purchase their own race timing chip as a one off cost. All new runners will need to purchase their timing chip as a one off fee.

Similar process to the tops during Membership

  • If you already have one, select yes and type in the chip number (we use this to cross reference any conflicts within our database)
  • If you don’t have one or have lost it, select no, it will update to hide the number and add a $10 chip fee for a new one to be issued at your next Race.

Let us know if you have misplaced your chip!  Timing chips are still $10 including a strap.
