Wet and windy conditions met runners today in the Rob-Rick-Dale Deer Farm 8k in Evandale!
Long time club member Luke Patterson won todays race after a few years away from regular racing! Great to have you back Luke 🙂 Second today was the “Sleep Deprived Momma”, AKA Fiona Webb, also on her way back to running after having a baby last year…. Tim Gunton raced in 3rd chasing a personal best on this course – did you get it Timmy?
The fastest male in todays race was Deon Birtwistle in 28:19, and the fastest female was Katherine Mills in a time of 36:10.
In the division two 2.5k race Daniel De Witt came in first from Thomas Cooper and Amy Lewis! The fastest male in div 2 today was Max Murry in 8:40, and the fastest female was Averyl Quinn in a time of 9:52.
In the Division three 1.5k race Hannah Zegveld crossed the line first from Joseph Rogers Jnr and Peyton Webb. The fastest male in div 3 today was Joseph Rogers Jnr in 6:57, and the fastest female was Mabel Murry in a time of 6:50.

Despite the challenging weather, todays runners enjoyed delicious venison patties and steaks from the sponsor (and long time club runners) Rob-Rick-Dale Deer Farm! Devil Coffee also provided runners with much needed hot drinks to take the chill off 🙂
