Race 6 of the 2024 season, the Greaves Engineering and Design 6k, took place in beachie picturesque Low Head, delivering a spectacular day of running under ideal conditions. A big thank you goes out to all the participants, supporters, and volunteers who came together to make this race a memorable one! And a massive thank you to Ricky, Robyn and their family for donating AND running the BBQ to raise funds for the club – you’re awesome!!
Long Course Overview (6 km):
Mark Littlechild took the lead in the 6k long course, securing the win with a very strong run. Anne Guest captured a speedy second place, followed closely by Katelyn Elston in third and Tim Gunton in fourth. Mark Littlechild was also the fastest male, clocking in a time of 23:55. Sarah Menzie led the women with a top time of 26:37.
Short Course Action (3 km):
On the beach/short course, Joseph Rogers snr took top honours crossing the line first as well as being the first adult. Second place overall and first junior was a fast finishing Isacc Rowlings, with Isaac’s dad Stephen Rowlings taking third. The fastest junior male today was Isaac Rowlings in a time of 11:17.
Junior Course Highlights (1.5 km):
Chloe March raced ahead to victory on the junior BEACH course, with Darcy Staak following in second. Both competitors did a great job on the sand today. Darcy Staak not only finished second but also secured the fastest male time, which will be filled in as 13:14. Chloe March shined as both the race winner and the fastest female, with her time also noted as 7:58.

Next on our calendar is the exciting ZenRun 10.1k in Scottsdale. This race marks the first half of our “Scottsdale/Bridport Series.” Remember, you must participate in this race to be eligible for series prizes, so don’t miss out!
