It was a chilly start to todays Van Dieman Brewery’s 9.75k at Whitehills. The 32 runners soon warmed up on the notorious hills of Whitehills with Melanie Hill crossing the line first! Great run by Mel chasing down second place getter Fleur Walker and winning by 8 seconds. Third place getter was club stalwart Scott Greaves. The fastest male was Austin O’Byrne in a time of 39:12 and the fastest female was Amy Lamprecht in a time of 41:59. The presentations were made by Van Dieman Brewery sponsor Rob Tatchell in his usual good humour 🙂
The division 2 race was won by Ella Boxhall – this was the 4th time Ella has won this race. Bianca Holloway came second from Benjamin Frost. The fastest male was Ryan Holloway and the female was first place getter Ella Boxhall.
The division 3 race was won by Peyton Webb, Sisi Tai came second and Eloise Cooper third. The fastest male was Luke McHugh and the female was Averyl Quinn.
Next Saturday is the division 3 Alex Walley memorial race as well as the division 2 Samantha Hellyer memorial race, along with the Bendigo Bank 5k, all at the Tail Race park. See you there!
