Nick Burke today took out the Pasta Merchant 6.2k Carr Villa Hcp in good running conditions in a field of 52 competitors over the undulating Carr Villa trail. Nick managed to hold out Austin O’Byrne and David Anderson to record his first win with the LRC. Chester James-Smith recorded the fastest time in a kilometre rate of 3:34 while the fastest female was Amy Lamprecht in a rate of 4:11 per kilometre.
Congratulations to quiet achiever Danny Whelan for completing his 100th run with the LRC.
Div 2 first across the line was Alex Davies with Charlotte Gregory and Corey Stanley in 2nd and 3rd place. Fastest female was Ella Boxhall in 4:34k and Tom Murchison 3:58k. Div 3 winner was Charlotte Rogers, Miranda Gregory 2nd and Oliver Walker 3rd. Fastest female was Averyl Quinn in a kilometre rate of 4:31 and Jai Davies 4:14. Congratulations to Ivy O’Byrne in receiving her 50 run badge today.
