What a lovely day for running and what a lovely winner!!
With 31 starters, Paige Wierenga was back to her best pace and beat the field home to take out the win!! Thanks to our sponsors Rob Rick Dale Deer Farm and to all the volunteers who helped out on the day. Sarah Menzie was our fastest female in a time of 35:35 and Charles Gunn our fastest male with a time of 27:51. Malachi Evans dumped his shirt on the way out to reduce drag and come home strong in second place, followed by Rob Tatchell in third and Charles Gunn fourth overall.
Our junior race was won by Molly Pinkington with Chloe Marsh recording the fastest female time of 6:36 and with a day out for the Gunn family, Freddie was our fastest male with a time of 6:04. Minor positions were taken out by Logan Webb in second, Otis Prescott in third and Asha Pilkington in fourth. Well done all!
Morgan Howell put in a great run to take out the Short Course with his mate Charlie Reese fastest U18 male in a time of 8:57. Indianna Berwick was our fastest U18 female with a time of 12:24 also taking out second place. Aarden Boonyanit came in third position and congratulations to Stephen Rowlings who was our first Senior runner over the line in fourth position overall.
