Despite the wet conditions today, Paul Loader made the most of his home ground advantage and won the Wes Jones Family 8k in Westbury. It was also Paul’s 150th LRC run! Robyn Beattie raced into second and Sarah Menzie grabbed third. The fastest male today was Ricky Barnewall in a time of 27:52 and the fastest female was Sarah Menzie in a time of 33:06. Scottie Geaves also picked up his 250th run today.
In the 2.5k short course Chelsea Rogers was the first junior from Millie Sertori and Haylee Spicer. The first senior is todays race was Sandra Carter from Lisa McCarthy and Sarah Fish. The fastest junior male today was Archer Rogers and the fastest junior female was Rosie Jackson.
Jacinta Rowlings won the juniors 1.5k from Kobe Heger and Harrison Geale. The fastest male was Alexander Murray and the fastest female was Jada Rowlings.
