Paul Loader took out todays Scott Smith Orthodontics 8km in Longford for the second time. Paul also won this race in 2014 – his 2014 time was 37.27 while he took out todays race in 35.44 – he’s getting faster! Unfortunately, Paul’s wife and running partner Annie missed his win as she’s on the big island visiting family. The second place today was taken by Jozina Goedhart and third by Rod Howell. The fastest male in todays race was Matthew Zegveld and the fastest female was Amy Lamprecht.
In the division two 2.5k race Charlotte Rogers raced home ahead of Benjamin Frost and Ryan Holloway. The fastest male was Benjamin Frost and the fastest female was Ella Boxhall.
In the division three 1.5k race Alex Zegveld lead the field home ahead of Georgia Harmey and Chelsea Rogers. The fastest male was Luke McHugh and the fastest female was Avril Quinn.
