Race 15 of the 2024 season, sponsored by Cranes Combined, took place in a true Tassie winter wonderland today in Perth. The rain managed to stop before most people started, however was still cold and the winds picked up towards the end, before the sun started to peak through for presentations, what a day! A big thank you to all the participants, supporters, and volunteers who made this event a memorable one!
Cranes Combined Half Marathon (21.1 km):
Pete Wierenga claimed victory in the 21.1k half marathon course. Patrick Moroney finished strong in second place, edging closer to that win, closely followed by Chris Marsh in third. Leanne Evans took the fourth spot, before rounding up for another lap.
John Claridge posted the fastest male time at 1:29:51, while Sarah Menzie continued her excellent form as the fastest female, finishing in 1:47:41.
