Unfortunately Sarah Bagley has been disqualified from Saturdays race at Royal Park. On a positive note – Sarah ran very well, however that meant she ran faster than the 18sec per k improvement rule. This rule is only applied in Blue Ribbon races and the feature race.
The results have been updated to reflect this and the new race winner is Debbie Joyce with Karen Gambles second and Cara Harris third.
It must have been the wind pushing every one home because Sarah was not the only one to fall foul of the 18 sec rule – 10th place getter Ricky Markham has also been disqualified.
