The Ringarooma 10k (and 4k) races were run as a part of the Ringarooma show on 11th November.  Beautiful weather greeted the 50 competitors who tackled the warm rolling hills around Ringarooma.

First home in the 10k was Johnno Claridge from Jonathan Price and Ben Kitchin.  They were also the 1st to 3rd males home.  The first female home in the 10k was Amy Lamprecht from Bonnie Davies and Alex Hall.

Laura McGregor was the first junior (U16) home in the 10k.

In the 4k race David Anderson raced home first from Benjamin Frost and Katie Proctor.  The first three males home were David Anderson, Benjamin Frost and Anthony Cruickshank.  The first three females home in the 4k race were Katie Proctor, Robekah McDougall and Shae Arnold.  In the 4k race juniors were awarded places:- U16 males – Benjamin Frost first and Mehki Jones second.  U16 females – Shae Arnold first.

The Launceston Running Club would like to thank Bruce Cox (as a part of the Ringarooma show committee) for organising yet another successful event!  Where else can you have a run and then enjoy a fantastic country show with displays, food, music, activities and good old country hospitality ? !
