It doesn’t get much better than Low Head on a crisp autumn morning—sparkling ocean views, blue skies, and a fresh (very fresh) sea breeze to keep the legs moving. Race 6 of the 2025 season was a stunner, thanks to our sponsor Greaves Engineering and Design, and the coastal energy was clearly working for our runners!
🏆 A big congratulations to Michelle Barnard, who took out today’s 6km main event—a well-earned win for our hardworking club president!
She was closely followed by Ricky Markham in second and Anne Davies continuing her strong form in third.

The shorter distance served up some impressive efforts too!
🥇 First across the line (and junior winner!) was Rhianna Crowden, putting in a strong and confident run.
🥈 Noah Webb was close behind in second.
🥉 Indianna Berwick crossed in third, followed by Elizabeth Staak who raced into 4th and the 1st senior across the line.

👀 Looking Ahead – Race 7 in Scottsdale!
Next week we’re heading north for Race 7 – a 10.1km event in Scottsdale, thanks to Little Rivers Brewing Co. This is the first race in the Scottsdale/Bridport Half Marathon Series so if you’re up for a double, it’s a great time to start!
