Sharon Gunton took out todays fast Kingsmeadows Travel 5k at St Leonards. Paige Wierenga raced into second and Robyn Beattie into third.
The fastest male was Ricky Barnewall in a time of 16:47. And the fastest female was Karina Fyfe in a time of 18:48.
Today was memorial race day for Andrew Willis, Sam Hellyer and Alex Walley.
In the 2.4k short course Maxine Lindsay was the first over 18 across the line. Luke McHugh was the first under 18 across the line from Hamish Goody and Sophie Brewster. The fastest male was Luke McHugh and the fastest female was Sophie Brewster.
In the 1.6k junior course Annabelle Pike won from Phoebe Jackson-Mills and Dillion McHugh. The fastest male was Hayden Brewster and the fastest female was Annabelle Pike.
