The Keith Badcock Memorial Bishopsbourne Race for 2026 certainly did not disappoint! Everyone experienced excitement at the finish line of the Juniors Race with a tie for first place (within 0.1 seconds!), navigated changing and unpredictable weather (managed to stay somewhat dry though!), enjoyed a delicious post-run BBQ thanks to Robyn Beattie and Ricky Markham, and witnessed an extremely well-deserved win for Stephan Hrvojevic in the scenic 15.3km Long Course.
As of 2026, this race has been dedicated to the late Keith Badcock of Bishopsbourne, who contributed significantly along with his family to the Launceston Running Club and to the operation of this particular race. We also extend our sincere thanks to the race sponsor – Nick Hay from Howell Property Group, for the ongoing sponsorship and support of this event.

Meeting point: Longford RSL (78 Wellington St, Longford TAS 7301)
Course: A flat and fast course through Longford, get ready for some PBs! Long Course 8km, Short Course 2.4km, Juniors 1.4km.
