📖 Race Report:
Race 10 – The Councillor Anne-Marie Loader 8k at Westbury
It was a classic Tassie morning at the Westbury Village Green—overcast and chilly to start, but by the time the final runner crossed the line, we had blue skies and warm smiles all round 😄
The 8km Long Course saw Mark Brown take a well-earned win, with strong runs from Malachi Evans (2nd), Patrick Moroney (3rd), and Jo-Anne Cowie (4th) rounding out the top finishers.
⚡ Fastest Female: Sarah Menzie – 34:33
⚡ Fastest Male: Charles Gunn – 27:01
Over on the 2.5km Short Course, Lauren Tibballs was the first to cross the line and also the first adult finisher. Aarden Boonyanit followed as the fastest junior and second overall, with Lewis Tibballs and Timothy Reese not far behind.
⚡ Fastest Junior Female: Indianna Berwick – 11:00
⚡ Fastest Junior Male: Charlie Reese – 8:37
The 1.5km Junior Course was a flurry of feet and enthusiasm, with Otis Prescott leading the way ahead of Logan Webb, Molly Pilkington, and Edith Tibballs.
