Welcome everyone to the 2022 Launceston Running Club season, we are excited to have everyone on board for the year. Our 2022 Calendar is now live and on the website you can find it here. We are thankful for all our sponsors who have returned for the year and welcome aboard a few new sponsors. Our naming rights sponsors for seniors are once again Paragon Advisors and Accountants. Our new naming rights sponsor for our juniors is Eye Spy Signs, thank you to both and all our sponsors for the year ahead.
This year we have liaised with the great people at ATC regarding all of our courses. As a result, the half marathon is under review and location will be revealed soon. We also have to reduce the distance at Sidmouth for safety and remove the short courses that week. We will replace this with short courses at our half marathon so the number of races stay the same.
This year Division 2 is now one race for prizes 1st to 3rd, we will release prize money details shortly. We will have all year entries, stay tuned, these will open before the season. We have scrapped the 3 race rule for your first win in division 1 as well after feedback and discussion. You can see which division you can run by age at the following link.
Due to feedback we have made some adjustments to this years singlet options, juniors are provided free of charge for all members.Tthe senior top is now an optional purchase, simply choose the cheaper option if you do not want a top this year. This years top is orange
We are offering a 10% discount for all families, a family being at least 1 adult and 1 child in the same household. This is all available on the entry page. So please come join us for the 2022 season at the registration page here. In order to ensure your top arrives before race 1 we have been asked to have the first lot of orders in by March 4th (this will depend on shipping) we will do 2 further bulk orders during the year at dates to be announced.
