Next Saturday, the 8th June its time for the Haymes Paint Fancy Dress charity run in the Trevallyn Reserve (Hoo Hoo Hut). All entry fees and sponsorship money go directly to St Giles!
This event is very different to our normal races – its a mass start, its not timed and the distance you run can be dictated by your costume … LOL
Although its a 5k course (2.5k for the short course and 1.5k for juniors), some costumes just don’t have that “distance” in them 😉
Our fabulous race sponsor, Haymes Paint (thank you Phil!), will be providing prizes for the best costume – so aim to impress and the prizes could be all yours! We will also have a few spot prizes and a lot of laughs, promise!
The event is open to the public (including those who’ve already had their club trial run this year), so bring all your friends and family, dress up and come have a laugh next weekend! Lets raise a ton of money to help St Giles keep doing the amazing work they do in our community 🙂
